Community Guidelines
Last updated: August 25, 2026
Noon is a place to share golf with people you know. These rules apply to profiles, posts, comments, photos, invitations, shared rounds, and every other community feature. By using those features, you agree to follow these Guidelines and Noon's Terms.
Be respectful and safe
Do not post, encourage, or coordinate:
- harassment, bullying, stalking, unwanted sexual conduct, or targeted humiliation;
- threats, praise or encouragement of violence, or instructions for harming yourself or someone else;
- hateful conduct that attacks or dehumanizes people based on protected characteristics;
- sexual exploitation, any sexual content involving a minor, grooming, sextortion, solicitation, child trafficking, or real or synthetic exploitative imagery;
- graphic violence or cruelty presented to shock or celebrate harm; or
- another person's private or sensitive information, including precise location, contact, financial, health, or identity information, without permission.
Be authentic
- Do not impersonate another person, club, course, or business.
- Do not fabricate people or results to deceive, harass, defraud, manipulate rankings, or gain access to a round.
- Use guest names and photos only for a legitimate purpose and with the person's permission.
- Do not evade an account restriction or help someone else evade one.
Keep content lawful and appropriate
- Do not promote scams, fraud, phishing, spam, deceptive commercial schemes, or illegal goods or services.
- Do not upload content that violates copyright, trademark, privacy, or another person's rights.
- Do not post pornography, explicit sexual content, or solicit sexual services.
- Do not use Noon to facilitate crime, distribute malware, or interfere with the service's security or operation.
Photos and golf activity
Upload only still images you may share. Never use a profile, invitation, or shared round to reveal someone's location or personal details without permission. Scores may be casual, but must not be manipulated to deceive or abuse other people.
Reporting and blocking
Use the report menu on a profile, post, comment, invitation, or shared round to alert Noon privately. The reported person is not told who submitted the report. Blocking is mutual: blocked accounts cannot find or interact with each other through Noon. For urgent concerns, see the Safety page.
Enforcement and appeals
Depending on severity and history, Noon may warn an account, remove or limit content, restrict posting, suspend access, or terminate an account. Credible threats, child exploitation, severe harassment, scams, or ban evasion may result in immediate restriction. Noon may preserve restricted evidence or report conduct when required or permitted by law.
An affected account receives an opaque action reference for an appealable action. Submit an appeal at noon.golf/appeal.
Contact and changes
Questions can be sent to safety@noon.golf. Material changes to these rules may require acceptance of a new version before posting again.
